What is Memintel?
Memintel is a deterministic semantic compiler and runtime for agentic AI systems.
It solves a core structural problem in modern agents: indeterminacy — the same input producing different decisions, decisions that cannot be reproduced or audited, and meaning that is implicit and fragmented across prompts and tools.
The Problem
Modern agentic systems couple two fundamentally different processes:
- Discovery of meaning (probabilistic) — what the data says
- Execution of meaning (should be deterministic) — what to do about it
Today, both are handled by LLMs. This is the root cause of indeterminacy.
The Solution
Memintel introduces a strict boundary:
Probabilistic discovery → Deterministic interpretation → Deterministic execution
It functions as a deterministic intent-to-decision compiler, transforming ambiguous inputs into structured, executable logic grounded in system state and domain constraints.
The Model
All decision-making flows through three deterministic stages:
| Stage | Symbol | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Concept | ψ | Computes meaning from state |
| Condition | φ | Evaluates whether that meaning is significant |
| Action | α | Executes system behavior |
Concept (ψ) → Condition (φ) → Action (α)
What This Enables
With Memintel, you build agentic systems that are:
- Deterministic — same input → same decision
- Reproducible — full replay of system behavior
- Auditable — every decision is inspectable
- Composable — shared meaning across agents
- Consistent — no conflicting interpretations
Rethinking Agents
| Traditional | Memintel |
|---|---|
| Agents interpret | Memintel evaluates |
| Agents decide | Memintel decides |
| Agents act | Agents execute |
Agents become execution units. Memintel becomes the decision engine.
